This portrait of Basquiat is part of my black/white/red portrait series. Stencil on canvas, 50 x 50 cm. It's now being exhibited at Anne Vignial gallery (Paris). The series is now 8 paintings (Basquiat, Dylan, Bashung, Angela Davis, Johnny Thunders, Nick Cave, Joe Strummer, Alan Vega). Some more soon. Price per canvas is still 800 euros (550 pounds).
ps : the one below (with the purple shade) was sold. I replaced it with a new one : no purple, only black...
the Nick Cave was sold and replaced too. But my originals are always different from each other, even when done with the same stencil.
